In addition, the provider requires additional data in order to verify that you are the owner of the registered email address. For this purpose, the provider uses the so-called double opt-in procedure (DOI). In addition to your email address and your name, the time and IP address of the registration and confirmation as well as the confirmation link are processed for the DOI, its verification and the prevention of misuse. Furthermore, in order to receive the newsletter, you are required to provide your specified name and your email address to the provider of your email account (mail provider). The transmission is encrypted, provided that your mail provider supports such a process. Your consent is the legal basis for the processing of your data.
